Terms of Use
Last updated: 21 August 2026
The short version. Everything here is free. The files you generate are yours: use them privately or commercially, no attribution needed.
In exchange: don't hammer the servers, don't upload things you have no right to, and remember these are hobby-grade models: check them yourself before you rely on one.
1. What this service is
alpaco.it provides parametric generators that turn dimensions you type into printable 3D models (STL and 3MF files). It is a free, non-commercial hobby project run by a private individual in Poland, without any guarantee of availability.
2. Using the service
- No account is required for any generator.
- An optional account (Google Sign-In) only adds the ability to save configurations.
- Requests are rate-limited per client. Automated scraping, load testing, or circumventing those limits is not allowed.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the infrastructure.
3. Your content
You keep all rights to what you provide: parameters, uploaded images or SVG files, saved configurations. You grant the operator only the permission technically necessary to run the service: to process your input, build your model and return it to you (and, if you save a configuration, to store it for you).
You confirm that you have the right to use anything you upload, and that it is not illegal, infringing, or offensive. Uploads are deleted automatically within a few hours, as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. The files you generate
The output is yours. Models generated here may be used for any purpose, including commercial ones: print them, sell the prints, modify them, share them. No attribution is required (though it is always appreciated).
This permission covers the generated geometry, not the website itself: the generator source code, the site design, the alpaca logo and the written content remain the property of the operator.
5. Safety: read this one
The generators produce hobby-grade geometry. They are not engineering-certified, are not tested to any standard, and are provided for personal and creative use.
- Do not use these models for load-bearing, structural, medical, automotive, aviation, electrical-safety or any other safety-critical application.
- You are responsible for checking that a model fits your parts and is strong enough for your purpose before relying on it.
- Items that may touch food (jars, cutters, bottle caps, funnels): FDM prints have layer gaps that can hold bacteria, and filament, colourants and nozzle wear are outside our control. Food safety is entirely your responsibility.
- 3D printing involves hot surfaces, moving parts and fumes: follow your printer manufacturer's safety instructions.
6. Availability and changes
The generators run on machines in a private workshop. There is no uptime guarantee, no service-level agreement and no promise that a given generator, option or saved configuration will exist forever. Features may change or be withdrawn, and the service may be discontinued at any time.
7. Accounts
You may delete your account and all saved data yourself, at any time, from the account panel. The operator may suspend or remove an account that is used to abuse the service. Saved configurations are a convenience, not a backup service: keep your own copy of anything important (the "Copy link" button puts a whole configuration into a URL).
8. No warranty, limited liability
The service and all generated files are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any damage, loss of data, wasted filament or machine time, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service or of a generated model. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for damage caused intentionally, and nothing limits the statutory rights of consumers.
9. Supporting the project
Support through Buy Me a Coffee is voluntary and does not create any obligation beyond the perks described on that page. It does not turn the service into a paid product, and it does not come with an uptime guarantee.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. Consumers in the EU may also use the online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
11. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated; the date at the top reflects the current version. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting the updated terms.
12. Contact
