Any closed letter or island would fall out of a stencil, so the generator adds bridges automatically. The gaps they leave are the classic stencil look; touch them up with a brush if you want solid letters.
Hold the stencil flat, spray thin coats at 90 degrees to the surface and lift it straight up while the paint is wet.
1 mm by default. PETG flexes and wipes clean between uses; PLA is fine for a few sprays.
