The Gridfinity Generator makes one part at a time. This page fills a whole drawer: type the inside measurements, drag bins onto the 42 mm grid, and download one package with every bin, baseplates already cut to fit, and a list of how many of each to print.
Yes. Everything here is the same 42 mm standard the single-part generator builds, so bins from either page stack and sit on the same baseplates.
That is the normal case. With Pad to the walls on, the leftover becomes solid edge on the baseplate pieces themselves, stopping half a millimetre short of each wall, so there is no gap and no separate filler strip to print. With it off, the plan centres the grid and tells you the leftover in millimetres.
They are not clipped: the plate is only 4.65 mm thick and open underneath, so a clip at the joint would snap. With the plate padded to the walls, the solid edges wedge the pieces against the walls and each other. The plan, the print list and the README all number the pieces, so you know which goes where.
Yes, there is a switch for it. Bins sit fine in a drawer without a plate; the plate is what stops them sliding around.
